Refreshed

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.  After a very busy and successful fall, I thoroughly enjoyed my nice long holiday break- full of lots of eating, movie catching up, playing with my kids and hanging out with family.  Ahhh…  But I have to say it is nice to be back.   It had been over a month since I logged on to the old blog, so when I logged in this morning I got this warm fuzzy feeling inside:)  In other words, I am excited to be back at work, doing what I love so much!

So here is a peek of my first ‘official’ session of the year.  This past week we had some unseasonably warm weather and the forecast for our session day was a high of 50, so I was all ready for an outdoor session!  But when I pulled up to their home around noon, the temperature gage on my car read 40 degrees.  Well, I spent Christmas time out west where we had days only reached a high of around 25, and I swear this felt colder even than that (darn the VA humidity!).  But we decided to brave it anyway, taking short breaks inside between shots.  Well my eyes may have been watering and my fingers a bit numb, but these two didn’t seem to mind at all!  Though there was one point when the littlest Mr. J’s chin started quivering- which made me feel a bit criminal, but he was happy as could be!  Aren’t they adorable?  I just loved the brickwork and ivy covering the ground- typically it is hard to find green around here in January but they had plenty of it in their back yard and it made for a great backdrop!  And add to that two adorable boys= great photos!

Well, that is all for now- check back next week for some more sneak peeks and announcements! And I will be dreaming of warmer weather:)
